False tendon

It is a thin string like structure in the left ventricle, extending from the interventricular septum to the papillary muscles near the lateral wall of the LV. In some patients it may appear "Y" shaped or like a network. Basically false tendon is a fibromuscular structure which is nonpathological. But there are few instances in which broad false tendons presented with malignant ventricular arrhythmias,an entity called "Arrythmogenic left ventricular false tendon".
